So cardio is what was missing in the mix!! Clean eating and lifting were good, when I threw cardio in the mix, the fat os coming off !! Jumped on scale this morning down 10 lbs!! I will see that six pack by next summer!!

I Dig Mondays!!

Yes that’s right I actually dig Mondays these days. Why you ask? Well its the beginning of a fresh week! I get to train back in the gym, one of my favorites. Its the start to another week of progress towards your goals and dreams. So yes I actually look forward to Mondays as weird as that sounds .
Come to think of it I’m digging every day lately, that’s because a lot of changes have been made this year. All of them for the better!! Have an awesome and blessed Monday!! Get out there and make it happen!!

Cardio too!!! Blech!!!

Yes that’s right, the thing I wasn’t interested in I started doing. It is my second week doing HIT on the elliptical. I have the lifting down, and the diet down, still fat loss wasn’t happening. Well I bit the bullet and started doing 30 min. on the elliptical before my workouts, Keeping my heartbeat between 140 145 works up a heck of a sweat. You know what I’m digging it, since im going to be 44 I have some aches and pains, being I worked 25 years in the construction trade. So by the time the 30 minutes is up I’m sweating good and the muscles are all warmed up ready to go. It has actually made my workouts better!!! I will see that six pack one day down the road, that’s the goal!! Keep killing it out there and be blessed!!

As the title states big changes this year. Decided I wanted to live out the rest of my days as a strong vibrant grandpa. So I took the bull by the horns cut out the bad and plugged in the good. A good low carb High protein and High Fat diet. Ive been hitting the gym 5 days a week since February, and this week I incorporated daily cardio. I’m going to see those abs one way or another!!!

A Year of Change

So Lots of changes happening this year. Changes in our world are happening at an alarming rate.
Lots of changes in my own life as well… I will get more into detail in the coming days. I will definitely be making an effort to post thoughts and happenings on here more frequently as its a good outlet .
